From the grandstands of Jerez to those of Le Mans, the Honda cap is part of the scenery at every Grand Prix. For several generations of supporters, it brings to mind a particular champion, a memorable season or a livery that has become iconic.
Three generations of champions
The 1980s. In 1983, Freddie Spencer became the youngest champion of the premier class at 21, the forerunner of today’s MotoGP. Two years later, he pulled off a 250cc and 500cc double that remains unique in history.
The 1990s. Mick Doohan won five consecutive titles from 1994 to 1998, then Àlex Crivillé gave Spain its first 500cc crown in 1999.
The 2010s. Thirty years after Spencer, Marc Márquez broke his record as the youngest champion in 2013, again riding a Honda.
Matching your cap
A cap in HRC colours goes with jeans and a sweatshirt as well as with a full supporter’s outfit. For a coordinated look, pair it with a Honda T-shirt in the same shade: red to echo the tricolour, white or black for a more understated style.
Jackets, T-shirts and other pieces from the Japanese manufacturer are waiting for you on the Honda jersey page.
