Choosing your tracksuit size comes down to two things: your height in centimeters and the fit you want, fitted like a player or looser for everyday wear. At Elite Fanstore, adult tracksuits range from S, for heights of 165 to 170 cm, to 2XL, for heights of 185 to 190 cm.
The jacket and pants are sold together in a single size: you canโt make up for a top thatโs too tight with a larger bottom. Hereโs how to read the chart, take your measurements, and decide, using figures from the storeโs guides.
Choose the size that matches your height, check the chest measurement flat against a sweatshirt, and size up for a looser fit.
- S for 165 to 170 cm, M for 170 to 175 cm, L for 175 to 180 cm, XL for 180 to 185 cm, 2XL for 185 to 190 cm.
- Each size adds 2 cm to all measurements.
- If youโre between sizes, choose the larger size.
- No 3XL in adult tracksuits.
- Kids: from ages 5/6 (115 cm) to 13/14 (165 cm), then adult S.
How to read a tracksuit size guide
First, check the โyour heightโ column, in centimeters, then check the chest and lengths. The chart follows the adult tracksuit size guide, the reference for our adult jacket and pants sets.
| Size | Your height | Top length | Chest width, laid flat | Sleeves | Trousers |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| S | 165 to 170 cm | 67 cm | 50 cm | 72 cm | 98 cm |
| M | 170 to 175 cm | 69 cm | 52 cm | 74 cm | 100ย cm |
| L | 175 to 180 cm | 71 cm | 54 cm | 76 cm | 102 cm |
| XL | 180 to 185 cm | 73 cm | 56 cm | 78ย cm | 104 cm |
| 2XL | 185 to 190 cm | 75 cm | 58 cm | 80ย cm | 106 cm |
- These are garment measurements, not body measurements. Chest width is measured flat, from one seam to the other under the sleeves: the Sโs 50 cm measurement makes a 100 cm circumference. Compare it with a garment laid flat on a table.
- Lhe increments are consistent. Each size adds 2 cm to all measurements and shifts the recommended height range by 5 cm.
- Allow for some variation. The guide indicates a possible 2 to 4 cm difference: thereโs no need to choose down to the nearest centimeter.
The guide describes a sporty, slightly fitted cut, with one simple rule:
Your usual size for a player fit, one size up for a training fit.
To coordinate the pieces and shoes, see our tips for styling a tracksuit.
Practical guideTake your measurements in three minutes, without a fitting room
All you need is a tape measure, a sweatshirt and a pair of joggers that fit you well: comparing them with your own clothes is still the most reliable method.
Stand with your back against a wall, place a book flat on your head, mark the wall with a pencil, then measure from the floor to the mark.
Lay out a sweatshirt that fits you without stretching the fabric, then measure from one side seam to the other, just below the sleeves.
From the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, to the bottom of the garment.
On a pair of joggers that fits you, measure from the waistband to the bottom of the leg along the outer seam.
Does your height not match your build? Since both pieces share one size, choose based on the piece that feels most restrictive, usually the top. The same approach applies to jerseys, as explained in our guide to finding your football jersey size.
What tracksuit size should you choose for your height in cm?
S for 165 to 169ย cm, M for 170 to 174ย cm, L for 175 to 179ย cm, XL for 180 to 184ย cm, 2XL from 185ย cm, and one size up for a loose fit. Choose your size and the fit you want:
Size S, the smallest adult size, may be a little long. Slim build? The junior 13/14ย year size (89ย cm trousers) will fit closer to the body.
Designed for 165 to 170ย cm, size S will already give you some room: thereโs no need to go up a size.
Your exact size according to the guide: a close-fitting tracksuit, like the players wear during warm-ups.
An extra 4 cm in chest circumference for a relaxed fit without the tracksuit looking baggy.
The M fits heights of 170 to 175 cm. At exactly 170 cm, the guide's rule (when in doubt, size up) points to M.
A roomier top and slightly longer trousers: the training fit you're looking for.
If your reference sweatshirt measures 56 cm or more laid flat, go for XL: chest measurement takes priority for the top.
Room in the shoulders and a top that covers your waistband well, even with your arms raised.
The XL fits heights of 180 to 185 cm. At exactly 180 cm, the same rule means going from L to XL.
The largest tracksuit size: a loose fit, with trousers that fall over your shoes.
Designed for 185 to 190 cm. Above all, compare the trouser length with a pair of joggers that fits you.
You can't go up another size: the 2XL will still be fitted. For more room, choose a zip-up jacket style that you can wear open.
Above 190 cm, length is the issue: compare with your own clothes; a tolerance of 2 to 4 cm may be enough.
The 2XL will be fitted rather than loose. For a looser top, take a look at the fan jerseys available up to 4XL.

Special casesBetween sizes, short or tall build: what should you do?
When in doubt, the rule is to choose the larger size. Six situations call for a closer look.
For winter, choose a 2026/27 France team windbreaker, in sky blue with a hood, using the jackets and windbreakers size chart; find the rest of the selection among our football jackets and windbreakers. To find out what to wear underneath, read how to layer a jersey, base layer, and jacket when itโs cold.
And beyond 2XL?
Tracksuits are not currently available in 3XL. If you wear 3XL or 4XL, the jersey is the next best option: the fan jersey size guide goes up to 4XL, as explained in our plus-size football jersey guide, from XXL to 4XL. In warmer weather, a training top and shorts set has its own size guide (49 to 59ย cm chest width from S to 2XL), as do football shorts sold separately.
For younger childrenChildrenโs tracksuit sizes: ages 5 to 14
For a child, choose based on their height in centimeters rather than their age, and go up a size if theyโre growing quickly, as recommended in the childrenโs tracksuit size guide.
| On the product page | Your childโs height | Chest width, laid flat | Top length | Trousers |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5/6ย ans | 115 to 125ย cm | 40ย cm | 55ย cm | 78ย cm |
| 7/8ย ans | 125 to 135ย cm | 42ย cm | 57.5ย cm | 80ย cm |
| 9/10ย ans | 135 to 145ย cm | 44ย cm | 60ย cm | 83ย cm |
| 11/12ย ans | 145 to 155ย cm | 46ย cm | 62.5ย cm | 86ย cm |
| 13/14ย ans | 155 to 165ย cm | 48ย cm | 65ย cm | 89ย cm |
An 8-year-old child who is 138ย cm tall would therefore wear a 9/10-year size. With each size up, the recommended height increases by about 10ย cm, chest by 2ย cm, and trouser length by 2 to 3ย cm.
The jump from size 13/14 to adult S is the biggest: 9 cm more in trouser length and 3.5 cm more in sleeve length. So a teenager who is 165 cm or taller should switch to S; below that height, especially if they're slim, size 13/14 will fit better.
As for styles, the children's football tracksuits cover the major clubs, from the PSG children's training tracksuit, black with blue shoulders to the OM children's tracksuit, navy blue with turquoise stripes, in sizes from 5/6 to 13/14.
We're here to answerFrequently asked questions
Start with your height in centimeters: the store's guide recommends S for 165 to 170 cm and 2XL for 185 to 190 cm, with one size for every 5 cm. Then check the flat chest width of a sweatshirt that fits you well, from 50 cm for S to 58 cm for 2XL.
No, it has a slightly fitted, athletic cut that's closer to the body than joggers. Your usual size gives you a player-style fit; for a looser fit, go one size up.
At 1.80 m, you're right on the line between L (175 to 180 cm) and XL (180 to 185 cm). The guide recommends going one size up, so choose XL. For a looser fit, go for 2XL.
It depends on height, not age. The junior 13/14 size is designed for heights of 155 to 165 cm, with 89 cm trousers. Above 165 cm, go for adult S, with 98 cm trousers.
Not available in the store at the moment: adult tracksuits go up to 2XL, with a flat chest width of 58 cm. For a larger build, some supporter-style jerseys are available up to 4XL.
The right tracksuit for your size
Tracksuit size is first determined by height in centimeters, then confirmed by measuring the chest width across a garment that fits you well. Choose your usual size for a player-style fit, or go one size up for a training look: all that's left is to choose your club's colors.
